Orogen Royalties was built around a different approach to royalty creation—generating mineral opportunities internally while retaining long-term exposure through strategic partnerships.
The Company focuses on organic royalty creation and selective royalty acquisitions across precious and base metal projects in western North America. By identifying opportunities early and advancing them through partnership, Orogen seeks to build royalty value while limiting financial risk and dilution.
A Project Generation Model
Orogen identifies, stakes, and acquires prospective mineral projects before conducting early-stage technical work to demonstrate geologic potential. Projects are then advanced through partnerships with operators that contribute the capital and expertise required for continued exploration and development.
In return, Orogen retains royalties, milestone payments, equity interests, or other forms of long-term exposure to discovery success. The company’s Project Generation business has been consistently profitable while maintaining discovery optionality through royalty exposure.
Growing a Diversified Portfolio
Since its formation in 2020, Orogen has generated a growing portfolio of royalties, option agreements, and exploration alliances. The Company’s model has contributed to discoveries including the Ermitaño and Arthur projects, while additional royalties remain under active exploration and advancement.
Over the Company’s history, partners have funded more than $65 million in exploration expenditures across Orogen-generated projects.
