The 2600 Ha Lemon Lake property is located 80 kilometres east of Williams Lake, BC. The project is adjacent to the Woodjam deposit cluster (Vizsla Copper) and 35 kilometres southeast of Imperial Metals Mount Polley mine (M&I 247 Mt grading 0.27% copper and 0.26 g/t gold).
Alkalic copper-gold porphyry target in the Quesnel belt
Location
Overview
The Lemon Lake property is located within the Quesnel belt of calc-alkaline copper and alkaline copper-gold porphyry systems. The property contains a multiphase pluton zoning from monzonite to gabbro. Historic work has outlined a coincident copper in soil anomaly, magnetic high and chargeability anomaly developed over an area of mapped potassic monzonite. Historic drilling on the edge of the monzonite intersected 21.3 metres of 0.25 % copper with no gold assays. The coincident geophysical and geochemical target is permitted for drilling and has not been historically tested.
