Orogen Updates
July was a big month for Orogen with the completion of the Plan of Arrangement with Triple Flag Metals on July 9th (https://orogenroyalties.com/news-releases/orogen-royalties-completes-plan-of-arrangement-with-triple-flag-precious-metals/) before the new Spinco relisted on the TSX-V on July 11th (https://orogenroyalties.com/news-releases/orogen-royalties-re-lists-on-the-tsx-venture-exchange/). It wasn’t long until our team got back to Royalty creation with the generation of a 1% NSR royalty with Fresnillo as operator on a vein system in Sonora, Mexico announced on August 5th (https://orogenroyalties.com/news-releases/orogen-royalties-sells-the-los-coyotes-silver-gold-project-to-fresnillo/).
Exploration Team:
July is peak field season and the Orogen team’s spent a lot of time with boots on the ground across Western America. Highlights included a site visit with the BHP team to our Xplor project location (Photo 1) and a fly-camp supported mapping program on a gold-bearing alteration cell in remote Nevada generated as part of our alliance with Altius Minerals (Photo 2). Spectir also completed an airborne hyperspectral survey over 3,800 square kilometres of ground prospective for Merlin and Silicon analogs in Utah and Nevada as part of our alliances with Triple Flag and Altius.

July 22nd: Headwater Gold announced the signing of a Letter of Intent with OceanaGold on the Jake Creek project where Orogen holds a 1% NSR royalty.
