    Paddy is one of the founders of Evrim Resources, one of the two companies that formed Orogen Royalties, and has over twenty-five years' experience in public company management. He has structured and arranged numerous joint-ventures, alliances, and financings over Evrim’s history that culminated with the merger with Renaissance Gold in 2020. He has also managed and served on the boards of several junior exploration companies and has participated in the successful exploration and development of projects including the Ajax copper porphyry project and Spanish Mountain gold project in British Columbia, and the Niblack volcanogenic massive sulphide in Alaska. Paddy has developed an extensive network of contacts throughout the exploration and investment community. 

    Paddy currently serves as President, CEO and Director of Orogen Royalties Inc. Paddy joined Orogen Royalties in 2020 as part of a merger between Renaissance Gold and Evrim Resources, where he served as co-founder and CEO since 2011. Paddy is an experienced public company executive, having spent over two decades in the management of mineral exploration companies. In his career, Paddy has a track record of creating shareholder value through exploration partnerships generated from early-stage base and precious metal opportunities in western Canada, United States, and Mexico. Under Paddy's leadership, the Orogen team generates royalties and recuperates its investment through transactions with industry or joint venture partners on high‐quality exploration projects including the producing Ermitaño gold mine in Sonora, Mexico ‐ (2.0% NSR) and the Silicon gold project in Nevada, U.S.A ‐ (1.0% NSR).
     

    Presenter: Mark Coolbaugh, Chief Geoscientist America
     

    Mark has approximately forty years of exploration and research experience including as Chief Geoscientist for AuEx, Chief Geoscientist for Geothermal Technical Partners, Inc., Mongolia Exploration Manager for Cascadia Chemicals and Minerals, and Chief Geologist for Carson Gold Corp. Mark played an integral role in the discovery of the Silicon- Merlin gold discovery in Nevada and the Gatsuurt gold deposit in Mongolia and the discovery of over a half-dozen active geothermal systems in the US and South America. Mark’s background in remote sensing includes development of computer processing methods for identifying epithermal precious metal and porphyry base metal targets and concealed geothermal systems.
     

    Presenter: Laurence Pryer, Vice President Exploration
     

    Laurence is an exploration geologist with a decade of experience in base and precious metal exploration including grassroots to pre-feasibility projects in a variety of mineral systems. He joined Evrim (Orogen’s predecessor) after completing a PhD in Economic Geology from the University of Alberta. He also holds a masters in Earth Sciences from the University of Cambridge UK.  Laurence has both boots on the ground and management experience running Orogen’s past alliances as well as overseeing Orogen’s industry leading Health and Safety and Environmental programs. Laurence is a professional geologist registered with EGBC and Orogen’s QP.


    Presenter: Eli Turner, Project Geologist
     

    Eli Turner joined Orogen in 2021 after graduating from the University of Nevada Las Vegas with an M.S. in geology. He also holds a B.S. in geology from the University of Kansas. With Orogen, Eli has contributed to project generation activities and the management of exploration alliances with Yamana Gold/Pan American Silver and Altius Minerals. He previously worked for Blackrock Silver drilling out the historic intermediate sulfidation Tonopah deposit in Nevada.
